Michael has more than twenty-seven years’ experience in corporate communications and public relations including business strategy and planning, and the development and execution of marketing, media relations (B2B/B2C) and thought leadership programs. His sector expertise covers technology, financial and professional services, communications, retail and industrial.
He has managed and conducted corporate and public relations activities on behalf of clients, counseling C-level executives as well as sales, marketing and communications teams at multiple public and private entities in all matters of external and internal communications. Work for these clients includes hands-on strategy and message development, business-to-business and business-to- consumer marketing and media relations as well as supported crisis and issues management. His focus has always been on helping clients utilize communications to drive a business outcome – supporting sales and marketing, driving brand reputation and goodwill while maintaining communications with all relevant stakeholders and constituencies. His career includes holding various account management positions at leading public and corporate communications firms including Zeno Group, The Dilenschneider Group, Weber Shandwick Worldwide, and Lippert/Heilshorn & Associates, one of the largest independent investor relations consultancies in the United States. In addition, he was co-founder and Managing Director of CPR Financial Communications, LLC., a corporate communications consulting boutique catering to technology and healthcare entities. Weber Shandwick, a unit of The Inter-Public Group of Companies, Inc. acquired CPR Financial Communications in September 2000.
Michael is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and holds a B.B.A in Marketing from the University of Miami, in Miami, Florida.
